Who We Are
Atlanta Tile Installer is a family-owned tile installation business based on Flat Shoals Ave SE in East Atlanta. Our work covers the neighborhoods we know well: East Atlanta, Edgewood, and Reynoldstown. We keep our service area intentionally small because doing good tile work requires knowing the local housing stock, the common subfloor conditions, and the quirks of older Atlanta construction.
Our team handles residential tile installation, bathroom and shower tile, and kitchen backsplash projects. We don't split our attention across every trade. Tile is what we do, which means we've worked through the problems that come up repeatedly in this part of Atlanta. Soft spots in 1940s subfloors. Plaster walls that need careful prep before backer board goes up. The slightly out-of-square rooms that require a careful layout plan before the first tile is set.
How We Work
Every job starts with a walkthrough. We look at the surface, check for moisture issues, assess the structure, and talk through material options if you haven't already chosen. We give you a clear picture of what the work involves before anything is agreed to.
The crew that visits for the estimate is the same crew that does the installation. We don't subcontract the work out. That means the person who understood what you wanted is the person making the decisions on-site each day.
We work Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. A lot of our customers are working homeowners who need flexibility around their schedules, and we try to accommodate that.
What We Care About
Tile that's installed properly lasts decades. Tile that's rushed, or set over a surface that wasn't ready, fails in ways that are expensive to fix. We take the prep work seriously because that's where the durability comes from. The visible work, the pattern and the finish, matters too. But a tile job that looks good and holds up long-term starts well before the first tile is placed.
